One the unique opportunities EFA+ students have is belonging to a MI (Multiple Intelligences) Exchange Family. MI Exchange is a time where mixed grade level groups (or families) gather to learn about an artist and create an artist trading card. Each teacher leads a MI Family. Students stay in their MI Exchange Family throughout their years at EFA+. This is a great opportunity to bond with staff and students outside the student’s assigned classroom.

Today we were treated to a beautiful concert performed by our EFA+ 4th and 5th grade orchestra and 5th grade band. If you look closely, you’ll notice a member of the orchestra is none other than our Principal, Mr. Mees. Participation in the fine and performing arts is a lifelong opportunity. 🦅🎶🎼🎻🥁🎺💙💛

During the month of March we kept track of our reading for our participation in Everybody Reads. Each time a book was read a leaf was added to our tree. EFA+ read 8,886 books! This contributed to the total community count of 382,755 books. 📚📚📚📚📚📚📚
