Our orchestra teacher, Mrs. Bogue visited 4th and 5th grade classrooms. Students had a chance to become familiar with the orchestra instruments and think about which instrument they would like to try.

Eugene Field A+ Elementary Parents and Friends!
Eugene Field A+ Elementary is so excited to again launch our Community Partners program! Through this program, we will be able to provide an item of spirit wear to EVERY student in our school, while also raising needed funds for our students, staff, and programs this year.
The primary component of our Community Partners program is our Event Spirit Wear Shirt. We are hoping to partner with local businesses to help sponsor these shirts. Their logo or name will be displayed on the back of the shirt, and worn by every student in our school. Not only will their support be incredibly helpful to EFA+, but it will enable us to support them as a community!
If you know of, or are part of, a business that would be interested in becoming an EFA+ Community Partner, please send them the linked Community Partner Form for more information.
We need a commitment from all Community Partners by August 20th in order to supply all our students with a shirt.
Thank you in advance for supporting our school! If you have any questions, please contact Robyn Ernster 605-321-0912 or email at rjernster@hotmail.com

Two former eagles participated in local theater for a great cause.
Fine Arts for Friedreich's Ataxia is a non profit raising money through performances for research the rare neuromuscular condition. This is a student lead cause. The show for 2024 was Rock of Ages, they will also present a cabaret later this summer.
Lucas Shreck directed the show and Riley Galer acted in a supporting lead.

LAST CALL for Camp Invention! Secure your child's spot TODAY!

Members of the EFA+ Student Advisory Committee visited Lifescape and worked with a group of their students to plant flowers.
Both groups of students enjoyed working cooperatively and getting to know each other.

HAPPY LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!
From all of us at EFA+
Today we celebrated an amazing year of learning. Some of our high school graduate alumni returned to us today to share future plans and words of wisdom. We also sent our 5th graders off to middle school, and allowed our returning students to soar up and meet their future teacher.
Have a great summer!

On Tuesday, students participated in a Community themed Multiple Intelligences Day! This event was unique because students moved through M.I. Day with their M.I. Family instead of their grade level classroom. Presenters joined us to share on a variety of topics such as: how journalism tells the story of our community, how to form a band in your community, how to give back to your community, and how to use resources available in the Sioux Falls community.

On Monday students participated in the Camp Golden Eagle Olympics...the EFA+ version of Field Day!

Students in Dance and P.E. enjoyed ending the year with a glow stick dance party and participating in all their favorite stations!

At EFA+ we end our year with Camp Golden Eagle!
3rd graders created camp journals to start off the week.

3rd grade students planned and worked at IronFox Farm today!

To celebrate a great year of art making, every art class gets to GLOW PAINT this week!
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

5th grade students used the Art Smarts and Body Smarts to draw and act out history!
