SFSD would like to give a huge shout-out to our partners at Delta Dental who visit schools to complete much-needed dental work for eligible students! Cleanings, cavities, and root canals are all done in the mobile bus, so students don’t have to miss school for an appointment! You put a smile on our faces, Delta Dental! Thank you!

Congratulations to former EFA+ student, Esther on her vocal jazz award!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
The K01 students have been enjoying learning about leprechauns this week and dealing with their mischievous friend, Clover!
Clover took some of their yellow things from the classroom thinking it was gold!
The students solved the problem by writing kind, persuasive letters and setting some traps.
Today, Clover brought everything back AND left treats! 🍀

The EFA+ 4th graders took a field trip to experience The Water Festival!

On Tuesday the 2nd and 3rd grade classes presented their concert, "On Top of the World."
This performance featured a full band, singing, dancing, poetry, recorders, and even cup choreography.

Also on Monday, we hosted The All School Art Show: Movement.
Each student from EFA+ had at least one piece of art in the show.
5th grade performed their Monologue Museum during the art show.
5th graders chose a notable person representing excellence in one of the Multiple Intelligences. They researched to learn about their person, created a collection of art work, and wrote a monologue inspired by what they learned.
This project and performance is a culmination of their art integration experience.

Please see the information below about a Supply Drive happening tomorrow:

On Monday, the kindergarten and first grade students presented their Music Informance called, "Movin' Right Along."
