5th graders are exploring guided spelling with some hands on fun!
The school year is off to a great start and students are learning the routines of their classroom.
Students in 102 start their day with "Morning Tubs"--these are hands on STEM activities that help them get ready for a day of learning!
We are excited to welcome students back for a new week of learning at EFA+! Thank you to this group of greeters for helping students find their classrooms at drop off. They will be ready to assist again tomorrow morning.

Come out and enjoy some great food, fun activities (dunk tanks, bouncy house, axe throwing, and more!), and make a difference for our students! Hope to see you there!

Many former EFA+ Eagles helped bring Shrek the Musical to life.
This show was put on by Fine Arts for Friedreich's Ataxia, a youth run organization created to raise funds and awareness for Friedreich's Ataxia.

EFA+ staff members are spending part of their summer break volunteering to paint the bandshell with Habitat for Humanity!
Former Eagle, Alex Strawn will be playing Danny in the Prairie Repertory production of Grease. The show opens on June 11th.
Alex starred as Young Simba (Lion King) and Gingy (Shrek) at EFA+.

This weekend, Fine Arts for Friedreich's Ataxia will present Shrek the Musical!
This youth run organization puts on musical performances to raise awareness and funds for Friedreich's Ataxia.
The director (Lucas Schreck) is a former Eagle, and many of the actors are alumni as well!

Today the 2024-2025 school year came to a close. At the end of the day we welcomed our graduating senior eagles back to the nest to lead our 5th graders through the "Grad Walk". This is a beloved tradition at EFA+.
Last night the cast of Elf the Musical Jr gathered to celebrate with a cast party at the State Theatre. They got to view their hard work on the big screen, after waking the red carpet! 🤩
Members of the community joined us for our SmARTs for SmARTs Sake Multiple Intelligences Day.
This was a fantastic day of learning about the different ways we can use our intelligences.
