What do you get when roughly 200 students dance to 8 Nutcracker songs and draw lines to show the movement energy for each song?
A massively stunning art piece to display!

It's festive week at EFA+! Here is the dress up information if you wish to participate:

Today is a beautiful December day, but we know it can't last forever in South Dakota! Make sure you and your student(s) know how to access Canvas for remote learning when weather that keeps kids home can be predicted in advance.

3rd grade is studying inheritance and traits in science. Students are learning how genes and traits are passed from parent to offspring, and how traits can have variations.
Following a “code” from each parent, students created creatures that had the designated traits that were inherited by their offspring.

Kindergarten and first grade students built tables with Keva Planks after reading Our Table by Peter H. Reynolds.

In Art Integration, 2nd grade students practiced place value by choosing a 3 digit number to create visually. They used large circles for hundreds, medium circles for tens, and small circles for ones. Then they took turns identifying each other's chosen number by sharing their art.

Second graders created balance structures during Library.

AND....we announced our 2024 musical! May 10th and 11th, Eugene Field A+ will present Beauty and the Beast Jr.

5th graders who participated in last year's musical had the opportunity to participate in a workshop with two actors from the touring cast of Aladdin.

Last night the 4th and 5th grade students presented their winter concert, From Darkness Into Light.
It was an incredible night filled with music, dance, poetry, and visual art.

Some of our current eagles supported a few of our EFA+ alumni (Brayden Cambier, Ella Cambier, Luke Shrek) who performed in Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief.

The students in 103 learned about the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Students designed and created their own balloon floats...and then had a parade!

3rd graders are working on STEM activities in Library.
